Silvercrown Mountain Outdoor School (SMOS) is a nonprofit corporation that has the specific purpose to establish and maintain an outdoor education school that will serve the general public and foster the theory and practice of utilizing the natural world for environmental education and individual fitness.

It is the policy of the corporation to admit students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. The school does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship and loan programs, and athletic and other school-administered programs.
